This holiday season dress your dining room table up with all the glitz and glam! This year Angie went with a gold, silver, red and green color palette with lots of sparkly details. 

First start with a sparkly runner. This one is actually a shawl…yes, a shawl! Here is a great example that would make a great runner 

Then add your chargers and dinnerware.  This collection is from Isabelle de Borchgrave Collection by Winterling.  We love how simple and understated this pattern is. Although these pieces are not available any longer, we have linked our two classic favorites if you are in the market to purchase new Christmas dinnerware here and here. 

From there, add all your decor down the center of the table. By keeping the decorative objects in the center of the table, you allow for extra space for family style dishes to be placed on either side of the place settings.

This year’s table is made up of lots of candlelight, ornaments, sparkly gold birds and twinkling lights. Have fun with the decor! Don’t be afraid to mix colors and textures.  

Use cake platters, glass candy jars and glass domes filled with little bottle brush trees, ornaments and star lights to add different height throughout the table. From the light fixture hang ornaments or snowflakes.

Use different glassware to create an eclectic look and colorful glassware, like these red wine goblets, to pick up the red from the dinnerware and napkins. 

We tied the napkins into a bow, tis the season for gift giving of course, and placed a snowflake on top to tie in the hanging snowflakes from above and voila! A simple yet festive table to enjoy with friends and family.
