Good morning everyone and happy Friday! We are so excited to share with you we have been picked to be a Once Wed preferred vendor!! When they reached out to us it was such a lovely surprise because their site is filled with gorgeous inspiration and images. We are found under two areas in the vendors section Floral Design and Event Design. With so many exciting events in the works this year, we just think 2015 is going to be a wonderful year! What are you most excited about in the New Year?
Kathy, one of our favorite all time repeating clients, wanted a girly but wintery event design for her daughter’s Baptism celebration and we aim to please! Sparkly toy soldiers, crystal ice branches and touches of pink were found throughout the room for baby Nia’s winter wonderland celebration. Amongst the tall branches, natural white birch pole vases were filled with white gypsophila blooms and pink mini garden roses. A lot of candlelight made the room at Louie’s Chophouse warm and cozy for guest to enjoy themselves on a cold day.
The custom made favors were sparkly snowflakes with place cards attached kicked off the event hanging from large silver and white trees. All the girly ribbon details added to the event and from there the ribbon and snowflake details were found throughout.
Since it was around the holiday season, we added pops of silver and gold ornaments hanging from white branches and filled in clear cylinders with ribbon details. The custom pink tulle dessert table skirt was a playful touch. Of course, faux snow was a must for a winter wonderland event!
We wish Bill and Kathy congratulations on their daughter’s special day! Love you guys!
Up, Up and Away Hot Air Balloon Event for Chris’ Baptism Celebration:
We are so excited to share with you the images of the hot air balloon event we did a few months back. Working with Krisanthi was such a joy! Not only was she calm, cool and collective throughout the process, she was also trusting with the design elements we suggested. The room at EBC was so lovely and the new remodel turned out beautifully. The overall feel of the room was playful, cheerful and true to the season. We used a lot of natural grasses found during the fall months but also, made sure to have yellow floral to POP!
The welcome table included a printed seating chart framed and elements of the event. The custom made hot air balloons we made to hang from the large manzanita trees were decorated with the color palette in mind and the overall design added height throughout the room. The larger cloth hot air balloons had baskets filled with the natural flower arrangements and for the final design we used vintage like suitcases with small globes.
The room was inviting and bright on a cold, rainy and grey Chicago day. We wish Nick and Krisanthi congratulations on their son’s special day!
Have a great day, and if you are in the Chicago-land area, stay warm!
